Banham Zoo Banham Zoo, is unsurprisingly, a zoo based in Banham, Norfolk. Along with Africa Alive and The Dinosaur Park is one of the main three attactions in Norfolk. This is a really nice zoo with lots of interesting animals. They have all the usual animals, such as a farm yard animals in their own section along with a petting zoo. Banham Zoo is part of the "Big Three" (Banham Zoo, The Dinosaur Park and Africa Alive) in Norfolk and North Suffolk. At Banham Zoo, there are many animals including owls, tigers, monkeys, lemurs, zebras and seals. There is also a reptile house, insect house and primates house where you can see each of the three types of animal separately to the rest of the zoo. There is a farm area as well with chickens, goats, cows and pigs for younger kids to get experience with them. The restaurant is very good, with good quality food, a nice layout and well priced food and drink. There is also an area outside the restaurant to sit and eat if you wish ... Read the complete review

OK, for starters i'm going to assume that anyone reading this can get all the basic information (location, opening times, prices etc) from Banham's main website (www.banhamzoo.co.uk) so i won't repeat it here. If you're anywhere in East Anglia, with or without children, i'd heartily recommend Banham Zoo as a magical day out. It's the perfect size - big enough to keep you thoroughly occupied all day, but small enough that the staff are friendly and laid back, and you can get around easily. There's a great selection of animals, birds and reptiles - including the big, exotic animals like giraffes, tigers and zebras which you might associate with larger ... Read the complete review

I have been to Banham Zoo in Norfolk several times over the last few years with my daughter aged five, and thought I would share my experiences with you. Banham Zoo is situated in Banham, which is a small village in Norfolk a few miles away from Attleborough. It is a bit off the beaten track!, and not where you might expect to find a large zoo, but it isn't too difficult to find as it is well signposted off the main A11 road from Norwich. I last took my daughter during the Easter Holidays and the admission fee was £11.95 for me and £7.95 for her. (There are special rates for seniors and children with special needs) and the admission prices vary according to ... Read the complete review

In my opinion Banham Zoo is one of the hiddens gems of Norfolk for anyone with a child under three :). Also great for older children although more expensive for entry or season ticket then. I have edited this review and removed a lot of the information which I had pasted from the webpage. I was trying to show as much information as possible as not many people outside norfolk know about banham. Toddler terror prevents me spending too much time typing :). The website is www.banhamzoo.co.uk. HOW TO FIND US The zoo is actually on the B1113 which runs from Norwich through Swardeston, Mulbarton and tacolneston towards Old Buckenham (might be new buckenham). ... Read the complete review
