Advantages: good value for money, educational, easy to find and park

Disadvantages: expensive to get in, can get very busy, can involve a lot of walking.

all i can say is wow!!!!

This zoo is great and i'm so lucky to have it right on my door step. Chester have a bus that runs to it all day and it makes a great day out.

The zoo has so much to see and it has lots of hands on bits for the kids to take advantage of. I am currnetly sponsering an animal and this is a great thing to do. It is £30 for a year and you get 2 free tickets each year. You also get invited to special days and your name on a plaque. It makes a great present, both with seeing you name on a plaque and doing something good for the zoo. I go to the zoo each year and even though the animals are the same the layout is constantly changing to make it more interesting.

It is a great place to take the kids due to the fact that it tires them out. You can also hire wheelchairs and buggies if the need arrises. It is also a good idea to take a picnic, especially if you have young children due to the fact that the choice of food has decreased over the years and it is cheaper and more pleasent to sit outside.

The zoo is actually an expensive day out but at least you are helping conservation and it is educational. It is a great zoo and i highly recommend that you take friends along if they have never been or have been for a long time. It has changed so much in the last 15 years and you have to go on the monorail, its great. My dad also enjoys going on the boat but now however you can't see a vast amount on it.

I haven't been to Chester Zoo for years either, despite it being only 15 miles down the road!

I've not been for years and years - I used to love Chester Zoo when I was a lad, and living in Crewe, it wasn't too far away. Unfortunately, I'm now more than a little further away than that, so visiting isn't so easy. Happy memories though.

You managed to fit a fair bit of information into quite a short review - I would loved to have seen a more thorough opinion though.
