Lots of Fun!

Advantages: Quick queue times, easy to get round, something for everyone to do.
Disadvantages: Too far from home! The weather (Not Diggerland's fault though! Lol)
Travelled to Diggerland last weekend, 12th June, despite the pounding rain to keep a promise I made to my niece(9) and nephew(7) and have to say it was well worth it!
From the moment we arrived staff were friendly and helpful and even in the not so great weather seemed to be in high spirits. Lots to do. My niece couldn't believe she could drive a 4 x 4 all on her own, and I'm pretty sure my nephew has binned off the idea if being a dinosaur hunter when he grows up- He wants to drive diggers! I myself had a splendid time having a go in all the machines and was pleasantly surprised that there was so much I could do even as a grown up! I loved the sky shuttle but wasn't quite brave enough for the Spin Dizzy. The kids however thought it was 'wicked'!
Took a packed lunch and there were a lot of places to sit down but it was a bit chilly so we opted for some chips from the resteraunt (Nothing gourmet but perfect for kids on a day out!). Not on the same scale as some of the bigger theme parks but definately a whole day out especially if you want to go on things more than once (which you will!). My niece has promised to take me back in the summer hols!
Summary: Had a really good day and will definatly Go back!
