Advantages: great day out for the kids

Disadvantages: not realy for teenage children but they join in, you need several visits so that you can enjoy the park fully

I took my daughter to Legoland Windsor last year for her birthday we had a great time. We got there by train from London to windsor, when you come out the train station you have to go around the courner by the castle to get the Legoland bus which takes you to the theme park. I booked my tickets on line so there was very little in the way of lining up to do so the kids did'nt get ratty waiting. When you walk into Legoland there are all the shops there and some toilet facillities then you walk over to the railings and you can look down into the parke and see how big it is, it is on a hill and spread out all over the hill are allthe rides. My kids loved it there was all sorts of rides for them to go on like the duplo train, they can try out their skills in the water at the boating school, my lot got totally soaked on that from splashing at each other in there seperate boats. There is also the carousel, balloon school, whirly birds, extreme challange, you also have the miniland where ther are all sorts of miniture modles that the kids love.
They can go and play in the imagination centre where they get to play with the lego in a safe enviroment, there is a kiddies play area with climbing frames, swings, slides, play houses and a seating area where you can have something to eat while letting them have a run around. By the play area there is a water fun part where you would need a towel as the water squirts out of the ground up like fountains that kids love to play in especially on hot days.
This would be a great day out for familys with young children the older ones like to complain alot even when they do enjoy theirselves they want the bigger and faster rides that you get in some of the other theme parks.
