Big hit for kids (Legoland - Legoland Windsor)

Advantages: once inside all paid for except food. Disadvantages: Expensive, but worth it We are fortunate to live pretty close to Legoland, and my 2 and 4 year old absolutely love it there. We always make sure to get our tickets from lastminute.com, where they are 40% off, which makes adult tickets 19.50 instead of 36 pounds - much more reasonable! Inside the park, there are tons of things for littlies - the ages of my kids seems to be perfect. Beware the 90cm height restriction though for many of the toddler rides - if you have a short 2/3 year old you may find they won't get on and the ticket price will have been a waste. Inside my kids love the Storybook water ride, the Fire Station race, the Miniworld, where a train obsessed little boy can while away hours, and the big train through the park. Viking River Splash - one of the new rides for this year was also a hit with my 4 year old. Food outlets are plentiful in the park, but you can pack your own snacks and water - there's no one stopping you from taking it in. We always head to the Baguette stand near the Fire Station, and the value for money there is excellent - about 5 pounds for a huge baguette plus crisps and fruit. So an expensive day out, but there are ways of making it a little cheaper, and once inside all the rides are free. It is a huge site, and on the occasions we've been it's never felt very crowded and waits for rides haven't been too bad. Summary: Great day out for the under 8s |
