Advantages: once inside all paid for except food.

Disadvantages: Expensive, but worth it

We are fortunate to live pretty close to Legoland, and my 2 and 4 year old absolutely love it there. We always make sure to get our tickets from lastminute.com, where they are 40% off, which makes adult tickets 19.50 instead of 36 pounds - much more reasonable! Inside the park, there are tons of things for littlies - the ages of my kids seems to be perfect. Beware the 90cm height restriction though for many of the toddler rides - if you have a short 2/3 year old you may find they won't get on and the ticket price will have been a waste. Inside my kids love the Storybook water ride, the Fire Station race, the Miniworld, where a train obsessed little boy can while away hours, and the big train through the park. Viking River Splash - one of the new rides for this year was also a hit with my 4 year old. Food outlets are plentiful in the park, but you can pack your own snacks and water - there's no one stopping you from taking it in. We always head to the Baguette stand near the Fire Station, and the value for money there is excellent - about 5 pounds for a huge baguette plus crisps and fruit. So an expensive day out, but there are ways of making it a little cheaper, and once inside all the rides are free. It is a huge site, and on the occasions we've been it's never felt very crowded and waits for rides haven't been too bad.

Summary: Great day out for the under 8s

£36 for an adult ticket????? Sorry but I still don't even know what is there, is it just a load of rides like Alton Towers? How long can you spend there? Where is it? How much are kids tickets? Disabled facilities? What are the toilets like? Parking? Also you haven't mentioned Lego once, as it is a part of the name I thought it must feature an awful lot there? If you edit your review please let me know and I will be happy to come back for another look.
