Advantages: IT IS VERY INTERESTING

Disadvantages: CAN BE BORING!

I recently visited the London Aquarium with my friend on a trip to London for her 21st! We are now going to London every year we love it that much but anyway the aquarium was not something on our list to do when we first booked up to go down.

We went to the London Eye booking area and found that if we booked the London Eye and the Aquarium we could get a discount on them, tho we had to do both of them on the same day and give times which was a bit unhelpful as we would have to get up early because they are very busy we anyway we decided to book and go book.

We got up the next morning and walked down to the aquarium which is next to the London Eye. We waited in the queue which was very busy, school kids infront of us must have been a trip but anyway we got in and started around walk around the aquarium.

It has stunning glass walkway tunnels which has fish and sea animals inside it. This is all under cover so no need to worry about anything.. It can sometimes be cold but not cold enough to be wrapped up you will soon warm up. As you make your way through the tunnels you come to a feeding section which has rays and all sorted in the pool too feed but this is certain times check with front desk if is something you fancy. You can watch diving displays, and can touch fish in the touch area... Along the way you will come across turtles, seahorses, octopus and sharks. The sharks were my favourite part of the aquarium, you can even walk across the glass bridge and watch the sharks underneath you that is scary... But good fun..

The whole walk/experience took my friend and I about 3 hours, which was fun.. As you come out, you visit the shop were you can buy aquarium items such as fish teddies, bouncing balls, glass, mugs and more... all aquarium merchandise.

I would recommend going to the aquarium if you are planning a visit to london, opening times vary, prices also vary depending on where you buy them from. Please check the website for more details

Summary: WORTH VISITING
