Advantages: Lots to do for all ages
Disadvantages: price for little ones
We have just been to Paulton park. I had read the previous review and was a little cagey about going, as we didn;t fancy the extra trip to Chessington. So glad we did. It must have improved since the review was written.
We were a mixed bunch of 9, youngest 8 months - oldest 67 years.
There was enough for all, Mother liked the museum, birds and the gardens. The baby liked the gentle rides. The 3 year old's favourite was the log flume and the 8 & 12 year olds loved the cobra. Adults had great fun on all rides plus trying to loose the kids in the maze!
One of the things I thought was a lovely touch and unusual in this money grabbing world was the fact they had various rides dotted about that you expect to have to pay for. Like the ones in supermarket etc. ie trains, postman pat and animals that you have to put in 50p a go. Ist time we thought someone had forgotten that there was a second ride. We soon found none of them accepted money just a big green button to push. What a lovely idea.
Definately will go again. Food and drink were aplenty and not too pricey.
Only gripe - I thought they could offer a return another day ticket at a discount. Only annual passes were available, which are fine if you live locally.
Overall great day out for the family.
Summary: Plenty to do for all the family
