Thorpe ParkNewest Review: ... and a start to 100kphr in only a few seconds type ride, that I cant remember the name of! There was also a samuri type ride which lifts you up and spins you round. I think I have seen one of these at every theme park I have been to! The great thing about Thorpe Park is that every ride I went on I loved. They had more rides than I could possibly fit in in one whole day which was a very good ... more |

I have loved theme parks since I was a young child and was desperate to be old (well, maybe tall enough) to go on the proper scary rollercoaster rides! When I was growing up, out of Chessington and Thorpe Park, Chessignton was the one with the most rollercoasters and scary rides. As I got older though Thorpe Park seems to have over taken Chessington and won the crown of most cool theme Park with the best rides for teenagers and adults. I decided to go for my birthday this year, which falls in October, and hopefully meant I was avoiding the crowds and lengthy queues, and see how good it really was. The day out itself is expensive if you pay full price. The ... Read the complete review

Thorpe Park is a theme park in Surrey based between Staines and Chertsey. Most of the public transport links come in via Staines especially from London although unless you have a car the park is quite isolated and would need a train/bus combo to access. The park itself contains some good rides, most notably Stealth, Saw, Colossus and Nemesis Inferno, the four big rollercoasters. However there are a number of things I didn't like about the park when I went to a recent Fright Night. Firstly the admission charge, at £30 even with a five pounds off voucher it is too high. Part of the reason why it is too high is because when you get into the park ... Read the complete review

Thorpe Park is a theme park based in Staines, Surrey, which is part of the Tussauds group. A 30 minute drive from west london, and has lots of supporting bus links being close to London. Easy to get to! Thorpe Park is now seemingly becoming more of a rival to Alton Towers as in recent years Tussauds have introduced more 'white knuckle rides' to the theme park. WHAT I DISLIKE The thing i feel i dislike about thorpe park the most is, that some parts look although it needs a good lick of paint. This year when i visiting, I ackowledged most things were sun damaged, loss of colour, when You pay £30 entrance you should expect an adventure land, full ... Read the complete review

Thorpe Park is a theme park located in Surrey UK. The park was opened in 1979 on the site of an old gravel pit which was partially flooded with the intention of creating a water based theme for the park. The park is not particularly big in size compared to its 2 sister parks, Alton Towers and Chessington World of advancers. Thorpe Park is split up into eight themed areas, although they are not used often in the park. Port Atlantis Port Atlantis or Known more commonly as "The Dome" is the main entrance to the park. It is a dome shaped building that contains guest services, shops, toilets, lockers, a bar and staff areas. Lost ... Read the complete review
