Advantages: Somewhat good rides.

Disadvantages: Unreliable, Costly, short time

I went to Thorpe Park for the first time over Easter, and it was a complete letdown. it was 14th March, the opening day for SAW: The Ride and we ran to queue. The queue was only 45 minutes which was quite good and we went on it, and SAW was absolutely fantastic. It was extreme but smooth!

However, all the other rides were closed. Only about 5-6 were open. We went on Tidal Wave four times, which was really thrilling, fun and you get soaked! Then there's Nemesis which is suspending coaster, and we went on that twice. We also went on Rush, which we got to the front of, then it broke down, one of the handlebars were apparantly "sticky" and i had to sit in that one! That was hell.

The park is really quite small compared to all the others, and boasts a few great rides: Stealth, Colossus, Nemesis, and now SAW: The Ride. The flat rides are horrid and nauseating, whilst the water rides are varied and fun!

THorpe PArk is a great day out for anyone who likes thrills, however, it comes at a steep price. £32 if bought on the day, and £24 online. It also opens from 10am-5pm so it is very short time! And the food inside is expensive!
