Advantages: fun for the whole family

Disadvantages: not cheap!

I first visited the park when i was 9 years old with my dad. Id never been on a roller coaster before and wasn't planning on going on one that day ( i know, why go if you didn't wanna go on a roller coaster) But my dad grabbed me and made me queue up for colossus (the biggest rollercoaster). I got in the seat and was so scared about what was going to happen. But as soon as the ride started i loved every second of it and i now thank my dad and regularly visit the park to this day.

The park is very different now with its new additions such as Flying fish (childrens roller oaster), Stealth (tallest roller coaster in England), Saw (based on the film) and saw alive (personally a waste of time).

It doesnt just have HUGE roller coasters for adrenaline junkies. It has a series of water rides such as...
Loggers leap. You go along a track in a log and go down 2 drops. You dont get very wet on this ride and can fit about 5-6 people in one log so is good for all the family.
Rumba rappids. Your in a circular shape boat and as the title says you go down rappids. The rapids arnt fierce and dont throw you away. This ride can hold 8 people in a boat and again is based as a family ride.
Tidel wave. BE WARNED. You will get very very wet on this ride. Its a very small track, you simply go up a hill and drop. This ride is NOT aimed for a family ride and i personally cant stand get soaked to the bone. There are heaters to dry of but these arnt cheap.
There are a series of very young children's roller coaster all located together so every member of the family has something they can enjoy. Saying this i wouldn't recommend the park for under 4's how ever if you do take them they will be free.

The bigger rides are...
Stealth. Tallest roller coaster in england. Reached a hight of 205 feet and a speed of 80mph in under 2 seconds this ride is NOT for the faint hearted.
Saw. This ride isnt as intense as stealth but they go all out on the theme. From the queue to the ride, its all based on the legendary saw film. The ride is has a vertical drop that goes beyond 100º. Really have to go on this to experience it for your self.
Nemesis inferno. More tamed then the 2 above. Can have 4 people in a row and about 28 on a carriage. Your legs dangle on this roller coaster rather then sitting in a train like stealth and saw. I do like this roller coaster and would recommend it for the young and old.

These are just a few of the rides that stand out to me, but there are plenty more on the park. However i would recommend taking your own food as the food prices are stupidly high. You can get vouchers online or in your local paper which are a very good idea as the park isn't the cheapest of days out, but i would definitely recommend it.

Summary: YOU MUST GO THERE
