Advantages: Cheap

Disadvantages: Not very big

Tweddle Farm is situated in Blackhall Colliery which in between Hartlepoll and Peterlee.

It is open 7 days a week between March and October, 10am-5pm and 7 days between November and February, 10am-4pm.

Ticket prices are:
Adults-£4.50
Children (2-6 years)- £3.50
Family (2 adults and 2 children) - £14
Children under 2 go free.

The farm is not the largest in the area but it is cheap and if you live locally it is a good day out and easy to get to.

There are a wide varity of animals to see and a rabbit barn where you can pet the animals.
Indoor area is available and there is also a tea room and gift shop.

Over the year there are various different events such as: Santa's grotto, Halloween parties, Easter Events, Teddy Bears picnic and they also cater for birthday parties.

I would recommend going for a day out here, however, I would not advise you travelled far to it as it could be disappointing and there are better farms in County Durham

Summary: You could get around it in a couple of hours, could not spend a full day here
