Jurassic park without the dinosaurs (West Midland Safari and Leisure Park)
Member Name: sammyboy3
Advantages: See all the animals close up (apart from the dangerous ones) Disadvantages: none
This is a wonderful day out and all ages will enjoy a visit to West Midlands Safari park. So what is it? The quick answer is, it's a drive through zoo largely without the bars and a mini theme park tagged on. It's located near Bewdley just outside Kidderminster, it's very well signposted. The entrance prices are £10.50 adults, £10.50 children (under 3's go for free) plus you automatically get a free return ticket! Which is a bargain in today's price's. For that price you get to see elephants, white tigers, lions, emu's,yak's etc etc very close up and personal. All from the comfort of you car seat, there is a winding track round the park and each set of animals along that road (think 'jurassic park without the dinosaurs). You can stop at the side of the road should you wish to have a longer look, but there are other cars behind, so some road sense needed. Summary: Fantastic day out for all ages |
