Tickets are currently priced at £11.50 per adult, £10.50 for children, Senior citizens, Disabled and Students, whilst under 3's go free. A bonus is the fact that you get a free return ticket when you pay, so it basically works out as 2 for the price of 1.

As the title implies, this is a safari park, you get to drive round and can purchase food to feed loads of the animals. There are rare white tigers; lions; camels; elephant; rhino; wild dog; wallaby; wolf; buffalo; zebra; and all kinds of deer.

There is also a reptile section, a fabulous bat cave, sealions and loads more.

In addition, there are a variety of places to eat, gift shops and also a funpark with rides. These are pretty good value too as you can by wristbands, so it seems cheaper that a lot of places.

This is a fantastic day out and you really do feel that you get value for money. You see loads of animals that you would never normally see, yes it can be a bit sad to see them in a park instead of the wild, but it does help to raise awareness and hopefully help to preserve the various species as a result.

There is ample parking, and while it does get busy (the busy times are listed on their site) you don't feel rushed. The staff are great, happy to help and full of interesting facts about the various animals.

All n all, I recommend this place highly, we had a fab day out and would definitely go back - and with our tickets allowing us to do so for free, that is exactly what we will be doing!

Summary: Well worth the money

Have been there a few times as we do not live far away. I agree it isn't nice to see animals in captivity but with so much slaughtering goin on in the wild, this may well prevent these beautiful creatures from going into extinction.
