Advantages: animal reserve, free return visit to park

Disadvantages: lack of adult rides

West midland safari park is situated just outside bewdley in the west midlands.
The park opens at 10am and costs £5-95 per person although under 4's get in free.
On top of this you need to buy wrist bands(although single tickets are available)to go on the rides. The adult wrist bands are not particularly good value as the bigger rides are fairly limited, but there are plenty of rides for younger children.
Some rides include:
pirate ship, rollercoaster, bumper cars and log flume.
There are plenty of other attractions, the main one being the drive through animal reserve, where you can see a wide variety of animals such as lions, tigers, elephants and giraffes.I personally do not recommend driving through on a hot day as certain animals tend to attract a lot of interest, thus creating a bit of a queue to get past. I usually leave the drive through till later in the day when it is less busy. There are more animals/reptiles in park itself, as well as a live seal show. There are places to buy food as well as picnic areas so that you can take your own food.
Although visiting the park is a bit expensive, when you add up the costs of entry and wristbands, you do get a free park entry next time you visit in the same season. This free offer does not include the wristband cost.
Wristbands cost:
£7.00 for over 1.2m height
£6.00 for over 1 metre but less than 1.2m
£5.00 for under 1 metre
single ride tickets cost £1.00 each but most rides require more than 1 ticket.
