Tigi Bed Head Strawberry Lemonade Body Lotion
by leeanne160480 I just went to write about this and see that it has been moved up a level - nice surprised Dooyoo! I do like Tigi products and after trying 1 of their Shampoo's a good few years ago I treat myself every now and again to 1. They are pricey but a little goes a long way, but the thought of shelling out so much for a product sometimes wasn't ... good economically. When I bought a Shampoo and matching Conditioner a couple of months bag from a department store I got a few sachets of other Tigi products. Fair enough these was just the kind of Sachets that you get in magazines, so a slim plastic pouch where you tear the top off to get into the product, but there was a generous dollop of the product inside. I got a couple of this Body Lotion, a few other Lotions and other products that I may review later on. This allowed me to have a few goes of this Lotion and see how it worked for me. I looked online for the price of this product and see that this comes in a 250ml bottle and you will probably pay around £7-£9 for this on main retailer sites. A pretty average price for a brand named product. I can't comment on the look of the bottle or packaging of this since I only got the Sachet of this, but if it looks like thee picture on here then I think it looks alright. This body lotion is quite thick, but not too thick. I hate when you use a Body Lotion, pour some into your palm and it is really runny, but this stays put alright and although you will rub this in quick enough this doesn't seem like it will dribble off your palm. The scent of this is lovely. It smells like a real Strawberry scent and not some yukky fake kind of Strawberry scent which you can sometimes get in cheaper products. This smells fresh and ripe. It is a strong scent but also quite a light sparkling scent which I would assume as this is the Lemonade part. This rubs in easy enough even though it is that bit thicker and I would say that after only 5 minutes then this has rubbed into your skin and soaked in as well. This leaves a nice enough sheen behind and the scent is just lovely. I found this to be a good Moisturising Body Lotion and I would be happy enough to use this again. I can't see myself paying all that amount of money for a Body Lotion though but it is lovely. Read the complete review |

Tigi Bed Head Papayarazzi Body Lotion
by kat1234 I'm a fan of TIGI hair products as I find them really effective and they smell gorgeous. So when I found that there was a Body range by Bed Head by Tigi, I was in two minds. Firstly, great - I could now purchase some fantastic smelling products to treat my whole body with, but secondly TIGI are experts in haircare - could this really ... be successfully translated into good body care products? After weighing up the pros and cons I decided to make a test purchase and this Papayarazzi Body Lotion is what I opted for (ok, so I'm a sucker for a pun, so the title drew me in). THE PRODUCT The body lotion comes in a 250ml plastic squeezy bottle with a silver cap, which you pop up to open and push back down to close. This reminds me of cleaning product bottles, or perhaps more aptly for a product by TIGI, predominantly known for haircare, of a hair dye bottle. This cost me £6.50 for the bottle. The lotion itself is a pale orange in colour and creamy in consistency. The consistency is actually hard to describe as it is somewhere in the middle of a body butter and the more runny lotions I have tried. When squeezed onto the palm of my hand for application it did hold it's form, which to me is a good sign as it usually indicates that the product will be quite rich. The beautiful fruity fragrance of papaya is evident as soon as you squeeze out some of the lotion. I would describe this as light and summery rather than strong and overpowering. APPLICATION On rubbing the lotion into my skin after a shower I found that it was easy to apply as the cream glided over my skin easily, however it did not absorb into my skin very quickly. It required alot of rubbing in and, even after that, my skin felt a little greasy. It left some areas of my skin feeling overloaded - it was good on drier areas such as freshly shaved legs but other areas such as my stomach were left a little tacky like there was still some residual cream on them. EFFECTS After time had passed, and all cream soaked in, my skin did not feel particularly moisturised or smooth. My legs, in particular, felt quite dry. The best thing about the lotion was, for me, the scent. My skin smelt gorgeous for hours after application, with the light fruity papaya smell lingering - very summery! OVERALL I wouldn't recommend this product as a moisturiser at all. It seems that TIGI haven't quite mastered the move from hair to body on this evidence as their hair products are always pretty much spot on. I was disappointed with the product. However, one use that this product does have is as a fragrance. I have taken to applying a non-scented body moisturiser first and using this product over my chest and arms purely for the fragrance, which I find uplifting and refreshing throughout the day. Don't worry about the price tag, it's completely worth it, and it lasts a very long time. ------ The Product Itself. This body wash is called 'Strawberry Lemonade Body Wash'. I bought the 350ml bottle, which comes in a very tall, thin, hot pink plastic bottle with the TIGI signature squeezy lid. The writing on this bottle is black and yellow and is printed directly onto the bottle itself When I got into the shower and took the lid off, I realized that the smell of this product is amazing. It smells just like strawberries with a hint of lemon, which is great because it's called Strawberry Lemonade. You can almost sense a sort of fizzy smell to it, which I think is wonderful. I squeezed some of the pink goo into my hand, it was thick, but not gloopy and slimy. Just perfect I'd say. After lathering it onto my body, I was covered in smelly white bubbles, the scent from this body wash filled the room and even lingered when I had rinsed it off of myself. ------ After Using the Product. After finishing my shower with this product, my body felt cleaner than ever, and the smell stayed on my skin for around 4 hours. Not only that, but my skin was soft and refreshed, I didn't even need to moisturize! Another great TIGI product :D ------ Taken Straight From the Bottle. ''Lather up with refreshing fruit cocktail that takes you on summer vacation all year round. Follow with in-shower lotion.'' CAUTION: Avoid contact with the eyes. if contact occurs, rinse with water. For external use only. ''Sold only in professional salons.'' ------ Conclusion.
