I love Tigi products. They are fun, funky and great to use. In their brightly coloured containers, with their kitsch designs they are a very attractive addition to display on your bathroom shelf, or dressing table.
Tigi 'Bed Head After Party' comes in a shocking pink straight up bottle with a clear bubble cap, deliberately phallic in appearance, and it states on the bottle it is a smoothing cream for silky, shiny, healthy looking hair. The contents are 100ml/3.4oz. Printed on back of the bottle it says Tigi products can only be bought from professional salons, but I have bought their products from larger branches of Boots, so that's not entirely true. Also you can purchase Tigi from their website, ebay, and beauty shops on-line, etc.
After party is a white hair crème. The bottle is well designed, with a smooth pump down action to release the liquid. Basically what the Bed Head After Party product is designed for, is hair that need taming, and reviving, and aimed at the young, fun generation, to give their hair a 'lift' after a hard nights partying. This sort of advertising works very well, and After Party is one of their best selling products. Their image is 'out there', and the Tigi range are very much products of today.
After Party is great for controlling fly away hair. It acts as a smoother, and straightener. It will control and sleek out the frizz that humidity causes. It's also brilliant for defining the hair, be it thick chunks , or thin. I like to do this as it breaks up the flat look of hair, and makes it look more interesting, especially with a precision cut, or layered hair. It also gives the hair shine. It makes it look fresh and clean, so it is a great pick-me-up in between shampoos. I also find it excellent when I wake up in the morning, with my hair all tousled, and in a rush to get to work, it's a quick 'first aid' for my hair that doesn't use up too much precious time, first thing in the morning.
Pump a small amount into the palm of your hand. The cream feels very light and silky and non sticky. Use about the size of a penny, no more. If you use too much of this product it can make your hair look greasy. So be quite precise in how much you use. Rub the palms together, and smooth the cream through your hair paying attention to the ends. The result will be revived, shiny, healthy looking hair. Looking like you have just washed it. The main thing about this product for me is it's amazing smell.
It's a strong smell, and has the most lovely scent to it. It's fresh and fruity, and sherberty; really gorgeous. It was actually the deciding factor when I purchased it. A nice scent is really important to me when buying any product, and this ones scent is really lovely, and it lasts on the hair for ages. It also cures the static in your hair so there will be no stray hairs flying about.
Now this product is not cheap! In fact none of their products are. After Party will set you back anything between £10.00-£15.00, and on the www.beautybay.com website it is £11.69, so once again I suggest shopping around, or try Ebay. The beauty products on there are really knock down prices, and I have bought some brilliant hair products there.
Tigi Bedhead After Party is suitable for all hair types, and also for colour treated hair. It is lightweight on the hair, it smells delicious, and has a fruit medley fragrance. It can be used on wet or dry hair, and it also gets rid of stale smells like tobacco. It will mask the smell of hair that needs washing too, and It smoothes and defines, and controls 'the frizz'. The container is funky and fun in hot pink. I like attractive containers in my bathroom. Overall I find this an excellent product well worth it's price tag, as it lasts forever. Recommended!-
