Advantages: smells yummy, lathers easily

bedhead is by the brand tigi which also has other lines such as catwalk and s factor, rockaholic to name a few. bedhead is probably the best known and most sold of the ranges and no wonder with names such as brunette goddess, superstar, moisture maniac..and fun bright bottles too!
the 400ml bottle i bought for 10 pounds from a hairdressers and i was reccomended brunette goddess for my newly dyed brown hair although it works on natural browns to bring out the shine in darker hair tones as well as (according to the bottle blurb) it i enriched with powerful nutrients and givees ultimate shine and smoothness! while the detergents used in the shampoo - ammonium lauryl sulphates - is a very strong one it contains sunflower oil extract to preserve colour and give uv protection for the hair.

now onto the best part.... the smell!! While I much prefer the smell of herbs and aromatic oils in my haircare i cudnt help but smile when lathering up with this shampoo...it was pure caramel fudge heaven with a hint of coconut - no the synthetic coconut smell used in other products but pure just off the tree coconut smell, yum!
it lathers up very well as can be expected with a product with ammonium lauryl sulphate but rinses out clean and no nasty squeaky-plastic feel afterwards. It didnt leave many tangles and i only needed a small amount of the brunette goddess conditioner afterwards on the ends... With most shampoo's I have to wash my hair every other day, any longer and it just feels greasy and horrible so i was pleasantly surprised to find I could go an extra day between washes and now wash every 3rd day.. of course the less you wash your the better your scalp condition and the longer semi permanent colour stays.

All in all this is a lovely shampoo for regular use however while some shampoo's will give you that -just outta the salon- look every time (yes they do exist) this does not but its good value for money and i will always prefer salon range shampoos n conditoners over the normal stuff in boots..it DOES make a difference and most girls would spend more than 10 quid on a lipstick anyway :P

Summary: delicious shampoo to use regularly. For the price they give a generous amount of product (4 salon)
