... and packaging of this product - it's fun, original and out of the ordinary. My bottle of Control Freak serum certainly makes a big statement in my bathroom! I also like the practical aspect of the packaging, because it has a screw-top nozzle, which makes it easier for me to squeeze out just the right amount of serum required without any mess. I found that you only need to use a small amount of Control Freak serum in the first place. A little goes a long way indeed - which again shows just how good value for money thi...more

Crowned Review Tigi Bed Head Control Freak Serum: Control Freak loses control (1165 words)
by - written on 12/08/09 (Very useful, 131 readings)
Rating:

Hair serum is a staple product in my hair care routine, and I think of it as being as essential as shampoo and conditioner. I have long hair which is very thick, slightly wavy and prone to frizz. It also gets very big at times, and unfortunately I don't mean in a sexy Cheryl Cole kind of way. I am always looking to try new serums, and when I spotted this one from TIGI's Bed Head range online, I was seduced by its promises. 'Fight the frizz!' the bottle claims. 'Stomp the curl' it declares. 'Control your freakin' hair'. Well let me tell you, as a girl who needs her freakin' hair controlled, this sounded good to me. The claims didn't stop there though. This ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review How the Control Freak tames the Frizz Freak! (543 words)

I have naturally very thick and wavy hair that is extremely prone to frizz, so anti-frizz serum is a necessity for me as far as I'm concerned! I had just finished using a bottle of John Frieda's original Frizz Ease serum, which really isn't a bad product at all. I was fairly happy with Frizz Ease, but I just wanted to try something different. I had read a few online reviews about Tigi Bed Head Control Freak serums and overall, it was highly recommended. I was also attracted to the fact that the Control Freak serum is actually better value for money compared with John Frieda's Frizz Ease. A 50ml bottle of Frizz Ease retails at £5.79 on the high street at the moment, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tigi Bed Head Control Freak Serum: Sticky Not Sleek (877 words)

Quite recently I posted a review on the Tigi Bed Head Control Freak Hair Straightener liquid foam which I received as part of a pack of hair care products. The other product in the pack was the Tigi Bed Head Control Freak Serum which I felt it was only fair to write a review on as well. Tigi Bed Head is quite a high price brand that is usually found either in salons or online - it's not available on the shelves of Boots as it's advertised as quite a luxurious product with matching luxurious price tags too! I can remember opening the Tigi Bed Head Straight Talking pack and being excited to test out the products, although I do tend to use them at the same time there's no ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review An option to straightners! (311 words)
by - written on 10/07/09 (Very useful, 22 readings)

This Bed Head product is mainly aimed at people with frizzy hair. And whilst using this product it certainly helped! --Smell-- The smell of this product has not got a paticular scent. It's a kind of fresh serum smell...but still quite nice! Also, the smell is not over powering which is quite good. --Texture-- The texture of the product is quite thin and runny. This helps whilst applying to the hair as the product's directions are to apply by working through all the hair. Also, with some hair products i have tried, lumps of the product have later been discovered after applying. But with this one, as the consistency is quite runny and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tigi Bed Head Control Freak Serum: Tigi Bed Head - Step 3 serum (453 words)
by - written on 05/07/09 (Very useful, 50 readings)

If you have read any of my previous reviews you will have read about my issues (!) with my frizzy hair. I have neither straight or curly hair which makes it a nightmare to style and I can never just wash and go like so many other of my friends! If you have read my review on the Kerastase Serum you will know what a help it is to straigtening my hair but the Tigi Bed Head not only helps straigten but if wearing my hair curly it takes the frizz out... heres how! The product comes in a 250ml bottle which is clear and shows the light green serum through it, which is great as you can see how much you have left. The product comes with black writting on the front with ...  Read the complete review
