Advantages: Does a variety of jobs, heat protection from straighteners and tongs being the best!

Disadvantages: Spray too much and it gets a bit sticky!

Since finding the perfect hairdresser (it's like searching for the holy Grail!) I have become a part of the wonderful, beautifully scented world of Tigi hair products. Fashionista Spritz and Shine from the Catwalk range being my first foray into this glamorous (if rather expensive) world.

The product is a spray in a pump action bottle which is purple in colour with blue and white writing on the front can be used for a number of purposes. It can be used as a heat protection spray, a must for anyone who batters their hair with straighteners or tongs, and helps to make your hair poker straight when straightening (obviously!) and keeps curls nice and neat when using tongs. Simply squirt once on the desired section of hair from a distance of about 30cm, then straighten or curl that section. Squirt too close and the section of hair will become saturated with product, leaving it quite sticky. Alternatively, when you have coiffured yourself sufficiently, use the spray as a hairspray as it has great hold (hence the stickiness when sprayed too close or too liberally!)

The word 'spritz' should give an indication of how little of the product is needed as a heat protector or a hairspray. Less is indeed more!

This product can also be sprayed onto wet hair before drying, again, not too much, and it will give a lovely shine to your hair once dry without making it feel or look greasy, a problem which I have found with other 'shine giving' products in the past.

As with all Tigi products, the scent of this product is good enough to eat! To me, the Spritz and Shine smells a little like popcorn, but not too sickly sweet. The scent doesn't linger too long in your hair but it fragrances the air around you and I like it!

At the salon I go to, a 200ml bottle costs £10.50 and as it's a quality brand and a long lasting quality product, I don't mind paying this much. It can be found cheaper online when you have a bit of a search around.

I wanted to give this product 5 stars but it has lost a star due to the stickiness experienced when too much of the product is used.

Whether or not it has made me a Fashionista I don't know but what I do know is that it does the jobs it says it will and it makes me feel as though the Fashionista in me pops out from time to time when I use it!

Summary: Smells delicious and does a grand job.
