***TIGI Catwalk Fasionista Shampoo***

*** TIGI is a leading range of Haircare that originated in the 1960's. It's Fun, Innovative, and edgy. With it's catch line "Get the Look!"~ They are a huge selling brand, and considered very much a product 'of today '.

The Tigi Haircare Range is split into three sections 'Bedhead' ~ 'CatFight' ~ And now the newly added sector : ' S-Factor ', and to compliment the styling products Tigi also make a range of styling tools called ' Hardcore.'

***The Catwalk Range***

The Catwalk division was created and Inspired by Models on the Catwalk. Tigi wanted their Catwalk range to stand for vision and style. Models hair always appears perfectly groomed and shiny, and this is the image they are aiming to sell the consumer to promote this product.

***Shampoos***

With so many competitors on the market it is hard to decide which brand to use, and we switch and change in search of the ideal shampoo~ They each have very different qualities for each different hair type. So in this day and age of choice. Which one would you choose? ~ It is all very Dependant on which category you fall into, and the shelves offer much variety through each hair type. I think the most important factors should be a Shampoo that does not strip the natural oils from our hair, offers UV protection, and is gentle enough to be used as often as you wish, safe in the knowledge your hair will be protected and retain it's natural source of Keratin, and Amino Acids.~

***TIGI Catwalk Fashionista Shampoo***

Is a Colour-treatment shampoo and protection, it is colour safe and suitable for all hair colours, and it adds long-lasting shine whilst protecting your hair. It is mild and gentle, completely natural, and having not been tested on Animals. The Company are very strict on their guidelines concerning this matter. The Shampoo is made from the kindest ingredients. The formula contains plant extracts, and natural mineral essences that are manufactured using fully biodegradable ingredients taken from natural resources. So it sounds like a very natural product that will be gentle on your hair. ~

***The Product***

The actual product is nothing to look at really. The bottle is straight with no real design feature to it. It comes in the plainest of plastic bottles, with a blue pull up cap, very much like the kind on a bottle of water. The Shampoo inside is Violet coloured and pearly, and on the front of the Bottle is written a Big 'C'. It also has Catwalk written beside this, and the weight which is 350 ml. This packaging is not typical of other Tigi products. Their products tend to be housed in vibrant neon colours, which Put out a fun and funky image

***The Smell***

The smell of this Shampoo is very fruity, a delicious smell of grapes and berries, it has a woodland smell about it, and it is natural and vibrant. It's quite hard to define the smell as a whole, but it has a very strong and expensive quality about it, much like a Perfume. It's a good strength and would stay in the hair well after washing I should think. So I love the smell, and now cannot wait to try out the product.~

***The Shampoo***

The shampoo itself is Violet in colour with a pearly look about it. It is very creamy, and has a moisturising feel. As I pour some of the Shampoo into my hands, it feels thick and luxurious between my fingers. I can imagine I would not need to use much of this to promote a good rich lather. So the feel of the Shampoo is of a good quality, attractive in colour, and has an amazing smell. The size of the bottle is an adequate 350 ml.

***The moment of Truth***

I have wet my hair and it is now time to try out the Fasionista Shampoo. I do not feel I need a large amount, so I pour a small squirt into my hand, (about the size of a fifty pence piece) and the bottle proved very hard to open. The cap is very hard to lift into the up open position, but with a little perseverance I managed to shift it! I would think the cap would become easier to open the more you use it, and I proceed to lather the shampoo up into a good soapy thickness. At this point the Shampoo is smelling so gorgeous as I massage it into my head, the amount I used was fine, as I now have a dense soapy lather upon my head. It feels thick and creamy and it is giving my hair a really good wash. There is no need for a further washing with this shampoo, unless your hair is particularly oily, and then maybe you would need to. So this Shampoo is very economical and will last longer than a lesser brand. So after rinsing it off my hair it is now feeling squeaky clean. It is also not at all tangled as it normally would be. I would have to brush it before putting on my conditioner, but it is tangle free and I am able to condition and rinse my hair before going on to style it.

***The styling Process***

Having washed my hair and towel drying it, I am now ready to style my hair with my heated tongs. It is feeling more silky and less flyaway than normal and is settling into a really nice style, with no static as I would normally find the case to be. It really does feel in a better condition than normal, and it is so silky. My hair is coloured, and The Fashionista shampoo seems to have kept it's promise about protecting my hair colour, as the colour is looking quite vibrant also. Colouring and dying your hair can stress it, and dry it out. So you do need to use a product that cares, nourishes, and maintains the hairs balance. I can't actually see that is has volumised my hair, but I think it does feel a little thicker than normal, and I can now smell the amazing perfume still on my hair from the Shampoo. It has left my hair in excellent condition, and after I had washed it in the Fashionista I almost felt I didn't need to put a conditioner on at all as it was feeling soft and silky after I had rinsed the shampoo off. So all in all I am very happy with the whole experience.~

***UV Protection***

In this day and age It is a total necessity for products to contain this. The Suns rays are a very harmful force. Harsh sunlight can damage, stress, and dry out the hair. Ultra Violet rays are considered to be the most damaging of all environmental factors, and the sun can split the hair and effect the production of Keratin.

***My Summing Up***

I found the whole experience of washing my hair with the Catwalk Fashionista shampoo most enjoyable. I was happy with the fact it was a mild shampoo, and suitable for everyday washing. I thought the smell was totally amazing. It seemed to tame the static in my hair quite well, and my hair felt in great condition and very silky after using it. Also the shine was amazing! It's probably the best results I've ever had as regards to shine. Also the fact it had UV protection was important to me. A small amount lathered up very well so I can see this being very economical. I know it does seem very expensive, but some lesser shampoos contain properties that can actually harm your hair in the long term. I can't say that I found it hugely voluminous, though my hair did appear a little thicker. I like the fact that it repairs and protects, so it would seal split ends, and protect the Keratin in my hair. I also liked the Ethics of the Company. They do not test their products on Animals.~ I think we are asking more questions these days, before we reach for the product on the shelf. Does this product contain natural ingredients? ~ Is it tested on Animals? ~ Is the company concerned with the environment as regards to their packaging? ~ I would need to look at the long term to see any other added advantages. What I like about TIGI is the quality of their products, using only the best ingredients, they deliver to the consumer a product which is funky, natural, and a joy to use.~

Ebay do great deals for the Fashionista range so there is no need to pay the full £12.00 for this product. It also can be purchased from other Beauty Websites at a reduced price.
