... toaster was bought as a wedding gift 3 years ago and still works great. It was a little costly but was bought with a matching kettle and so was worth it. It is a 2 slice toaster and does the job perfectly. It has a defrost setting which to be honest I have not used yet. I find it quite easy to wipe clean after using it and do need to be careful, as it is stainless steel. It isn t that heavy and has a slide out crumb catcher at the bottom. ... this toaster simply because it co-ordinated with my Breville kettle but was more than happy with my choice! It toasts evenly and has a lot of settings that are useful for veryday family living such as the reheat and defrost modes (the defrost one is used nearly every day!). The option to toast just 2 rather than 4 slices all at once also means you ca save energy unlike some other 4 slice toaster which heat the whole toaster regardless of the number of slices you ve put in.
