Nice, shiny chrome for your kitchen, needs a little polish every now and again. They also do a matching kettle. Heat dial is a bit of a nightmare if you like your toast lightly done, and someone else likes it burnt, as it is trial and error to get it set the way you like it, and annoying when your partner comes along and moves it up, unknown to you until your toast pops up nice and burnt! In payment for redecorating my best friend s bathroom, I received a Dualit Vario Combi 2+1 as a present. I absolutely love it. You literally plug it in and you re good to go. I am a bagel-lover and the extra wide slots accommodate the thickest and freshest bagels you can buy. They come out toasted to perfection - crunchy on the outside and a perfect golden brown. ... so its not the most amazing toaster, but i live in a house with four people, we range from those that want warmed bread to those that want charcoal. And this works for us, its quick so we can each get our morning feed before work, and its easy to change the temprature on so we each get our toast exactly as we like it. Its also great for defrosting bread, theres a little button that helps defrost, which is great as you can use this button whilst the bread is actually being toasted, unlike the previous toaster we had were we had to defrost the bread, then toast it.
