This toaster although is a very god price and is from the Argos value brand is actually a disappointment. As a family we do not require any extra functions just the 3 described in the specifications. Unfortunatly it is those that it does not live upto. The slot is meant to be long and wide to fit the standard slice of bread which you find out is not the case. The slot itself is also not deep enough to fit the whole height of a slice. As all toaster users will know this means certain areas do not get toasted at all unless turned and put in again. The wiring for the heating and browning that can be seen inside is not evenly spaced out and so some areas get browned more than others at any heat setting. No high lift does make life more difficult. The only good point is that the buttons are simple/work and it toasts though not very well.
