Advantages: Good looking, easy to use, quiet, works very well, easy to clean

I love toast. There I've said it. I was on the hunt for a new 4-slot toaster to match my shiny new kitchen BUT it had to look good, work well and not drop crumbs everywhere every time you move the thing! It had to cope with thick and thin bread plus the occasional crumpet or waffle.

I had been looking at Dualit toasters as I wanted a large 4-slot vaguely commercial looking toaster. Plus Dualit toasters seemed to be the "in thing" at the time. Well I looked at them... but couldn't bring myself to spend £150 on a toaster. So the TT33 ticked all the boxes - stylish, affordable, big and solid looking. It had the added advantage of matching my new kettle too!

I've owned it for over 6 months now and used it at least daily. It toasts bread beautifully - crispy but not burnt. It also doesn't burn subsequent slices of toast. The high-lift holder is really useful and the crumb tray is easy to clean and doesn't drop crumbs as my previous toaster did. It even copes well with my fresh waffles which probably should be grilled. I was worried that it would be hot to the touch but I haven't noticed it at all in day to day operation.
