The only criticism that I have of the toaster is that it doesn't toast a batch loaf as effectively as a pan loaf. When toasting the larger slices of a batch loaf, I've noticed that it sometimes toasts the bread too much making it taste very crispy, even when on a lower setting.
However if you are looking for a good reliable toaster then I would recommend the Breville TT4B...more

I would like to start by saying that we make a lot of toast in our house and so a good toaster is essential. Being familiar with the Breville brand I purchased the TT4B model as it was a reasonable price for a good brand. I have to say that this toaster has been very well tested and overall I'm satisfied with its performance. The control setting works well and so it can easily be adjusted for the full range from lightly toasted to well done, depending on your preference. The crumb tray is easily removed making it easy to keep the toaster clean, although this needs to be done regularly as the quality of the toasting suffers if it is left for too long. ...
