To toast or not to toast?
Well in my case to toast. I, like my daughter like to start our day with some toast so a toaster in our household is an absolute kitchen essential. I have had this toaster for at least 3 years using it every morning and more with no problems with its mechanics.
The styling is good and modern with the slanted top in chrome it is easy to use and clean off any crumbs from the top with a damp cloth.
However, I would next time not buy this toaster for several reasons.
Firstly I would buy a four slice toaster as I find the two slots a little restrictive.
Secondly I would buy a toaster that will toast other things like crumpets easily of which this is not one as the return mechanism or pop up action is not good.
Thirdly I would choose a model without a dial to adjust the toasting time as I find it is easily 'knocked' out of position and will burn my lovely golden slice to something I could draw with.
And lastly I would choose a toaster I can toast a taller slice in at once without having to stop it half way through and rotate the slice.
I would choose a toaster that is a little more high tech next time but saying that, there are some useful features I can praise. One of the buttons is a useful defrost setting you can use whilst toasting and there is also a stop button for emergencies. Unfortunately that is all I can praise.
It is a pain to de crumb the bottom and I have in the past found myself tipping the toaster itself over my sink to clean it properly, not good!.

Summary: buy a better four slice toaster
