Advantages: seperate temperature and also lever for each side (2 slices each side), well made, looks great
Disadvantages: None that I have found so far and been using this for a few months now
With my wife and I regularly deciding to have a nice little breakfast together we were gettting fed up of having to stand around waiting for one of our sets of toast to be ready and then make another so following our other Breville purchases and how happy we were with them we decided to pick this up when we spotted it for just £25.
This is an ideal toaster for a family or for those of us who like our toast with the ability to toast 4 slices of bread at and one time and even set different temperatures on each of the 2 sides.
The toaster is not heavy (I tried lifting some of the other 4 slice toasters and was shocked how light this is in comparison), feels well made, looks good in my kitchen, does not take up as much room as other 4 slice toasters on the market...oh and it toasts my bread exactly as I set it to.
Want to change the heat setting then simply turn the dial to the level of toasting you want and put the slices of bread in and pull down the lever it is that simple.
So what makes this toaster so good I hear you ask? Well it is the fact that it takes four slices of bread but that this is seperated as a two slice times two layout. Got a partner who likes their toast burnt but you like it slightly toasted? Set your side to your setting and your partners to theirs and you need never find out your partner made toast by finding the slice you put in burnt ever again.
Overall an excellent product that simply does what you would expect but manages to look excellent whilst not being too big or heavy so is easy to keep clean.
Summary: A great investment if it stops those arguements over setting the toaster back after use

- 14/05/09 Welcome to Dooyoo.
A good start here. If I was to buy this I'd like some more info such as:
Cleaning it
Defrost/reheat functions?
Build quality
UK price it cost you.
Adding info could inform buyers better although it is optional. If you update your review or need help please msg me.
