Great, good looking toaster
Member Name: antmcc
Advantages: Looks great, 4 slots
Disadvantages: No heating rack on top
This is a great looking toaster that I bought for about £28 - half price at Sainsburys. The toaster is quite substantial, it sits well on the counter and doesn't slide around when you press down the lever as some other toasters do. There are four toasting slots which are paired. There are seperate contols for each pair of slots which means the toaster can be set up for his and her toasting preferences and then left.
When you turn on the toaster you know it is on as the lights in the buttons on the front panel light up. There are 3 buttons for each pair of slots which are for cancelling the toasting, a 'reheat' function and a 'defrost' function. The buttons feel quite sturdy and don't feel like they are going to fall off. There are two crumb trays which come out of the back and therefore don't affect the styling of the front of the toaster.
The only feature the toaster doesn't have is a heating rack on the top. This isn't a major drama for me though because the toasting slots are quite wide and I have a separate gas grill for anything bigger!
Overall I think that this is a functional great looking toaster, but it is quite big!
Summary: Functional and good looking
