... my wife and I regularly deciding to have a nice little breakfast together we were gettting fed up of having to stand around waiting for one of our sets of toast to be ready and then make another so following our other Breville purchases and how happy we were with them we decided to pick this up when we spotted it for just £25. This is an ideal toaster for a family or for those of us who like our toast with the ability to toast 4 slices of bread at and one time and even set different temperatures on each of the 2 sides. ... not buy this appliance. Yes it was reasonably cheap for a two slice toaster but more false economy. Its very difficult to clean and the crumbs are not all caught in the tray at the bottom. It does not matter where you turn the dial to tell how much you want it toasted, it does what it likes! I set it to how I like my toast, which it manages to do, then seems to overtoast or undertoast the next time i use it. The only way I can get round this is to cook it bit by bit to ensure it does not burn. The most annoying thing about this appliance is that the crumbs fall over the top panel where the bread is inserted and into the cracks between the metal top part and the plas...

... is a great looking toaster that I bought for about £28 - half price at Sainsburys. The toaster is quite substantial, it sits well on the counter and doesn t slide around when you press down the lever as some other toasters do. There are four toasting slots which are paired. There are seperate contols for each pair of slots which means the toaster can be set up for his and her toasting preferences and then left. When you turn on the toaster you know it is on as the lights in the buttons on the front panel light up.
