      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      A stylish addition to the kitchen

      This DeLonghi CT-200 Retro toaster is available in most highstreet and internet retailers and can both lighten up a dreary kitchen and toast most thicknesses of bread to perfection!

      <--Form-->
      As suggested in the name, this toaster has a deliberate Retro feel, and so anyone who finds retro unattractive in kitchen appliances shouldn't buy. It has a nice chrome looking finish and stylish plastic handle to complete the look, with a clear plastic heat control at the base to aid in usability.
      Despite including all of the needed controls, this toaster is not compromised in its looks and will therefore be at home in a modern, stylish kitchen or kitchen-dinner.
      Though advertised here in silver, I have seen this model and its 4 slice brother in light blues and reds, so there is that variety to consider.

      <--Function-->
      Though not as functional in practice as its 4 slice brother, the CT-200 can cook 2 slices in decent time, producing minimal smoke whilst doing so.
      Also, the toasters heat control offers variability in cooking when toasting different bread types, etc.
      A crumb tray is included under the appliance for obvious droppings which can be easily removed and binned in under 30 seconds.
      To reduce wear on the handle, a button (the middle of the three) has been designed to release the toast early (if necessary) so that the user doesn't have to ping up the handle which could damage it.

      <--Pricing-->
      This toaster may be slightly more expensive than ones of a similar functionability, but the DeLonghi range has been designed with form predominently in mind, and this should be considered before purchase.

      <--Conclusion-->
      A usable, well formed, stylish toaster well placed in the majority of kitchens. Look through the range if this doesn't satisfy before moving onto other manufacturers.
