Why would a twenty two year old girl ask for her birthday? Shoes? Handbag? or a toaster? In my case definitely a toaster.


Have you seen this toaster? It is a piece of beauty. I am the queen of decluttering, I have as little as possible on my kitchen side board, previous toasters have been hidden away in the cupboard. However this one has pride of place on the sideboard in plain view, and quite a few people have commented on how it looks.

So why am I getting so excited about essentially a pretty appliance? Mine is in brushed chrome so it looks futuristic, but its styled in a retro way, meaning it won't look out of place in any kitchen.

As for the quality, it is faultless. You can decide how brown you want each 'pair of toast' to be. Ideal for me as my boyfriend prefers it almost black! It is so straightforward to use, even when slightly tipsy, and fancying toast as a late night snack!

However, the toaster does not allow for toasting of bagels/croissants, this does not bother me, but may be an issue for others.

On a practical note it is very easy to clean with the removable crumb tray.

Another excellent feature of this toaster is the fact that you can get other appliances to match that are equally gorgeous, yes, I have the matching kettle on my Christmas list already!
