I bought this to go with the matching kettle because the colour and design went perfectly with my modern kitchen. I am pleased to say that the reliability and build quality is far better than the kettle. The matt finish helps to keep it clean as it doen't mark as easily as other toasters I have owned. The slots are a bit wider than on standard toasters which is great if you want to put bagels or crumpets in rather than just bread. One of the good points for me is the little rubber feet at all four corners. These stop the toaster from sliding around on the work surface which doesn't sound like a big deal but previous models I have owned drag a load of crumbs along with them. The only thing I would say is that it is a little overpriced but that is because it is far better looking than your average toaster. Just beware if you want to buy it with the matching kettle which only lasted 6 months before bits started falling off.
