Although there are many cheaper toasters on the market, I wanted something that really had style, and for the price of this (in excess of £100) i certainly got that.
The colour of this isn't necessarily for everybody but fortunately for me it goes well in my kitchen.
The toasting function is perfect and the toast comes out well every time. One problem I have is that the toaster isn't quite deep enough for one slice of toast so one end of it is inevitably untoasted. This can be remedied by turning the toast around half way through cooking time, if a little inconvenient.
For such a price one would also expect to have a facility for four slices of toast. As it stands there is only really enough for one person at a time and that isn't great for family breakfasts.
Although the toaster has a crumb tray it can occasionally spill out and cause a lot of mess. Other than that, it's a good toaster but not wonderful value for money.
For £100 I would really expect to have an option to toast more slices of bread. The toaster is however very sturdy and you won't fear about the safety aspect of using it.
