Advantages: Stylish, Looks Good In Kitchen, Works Well, Good Features.

Disadvantages: A Little Expensive.

This is the toaster at my Mum's house and as such I use this toaster a couple of times a week on a fairly regular basis.

The toaster is from Dualit and the model number is 25002. This toaster is currently available from Amazon.co.uk for £47.90 and free super saver delivery. The toaster is available in a variety of colours including biege, red & blue. The toaster that I use is a light blue colour and was originally purchased from Next for around £65.00 about two years ago.

Firstly I will tell you about some of the features of this toaster:

Cool Wall: I believe this is the part of the toaster that does not get hot when it's in use. This makes it easy to move the toaster and touch the buttons without getting hot or burning yourself.

Crumb Tray: This is located at the bottom of the toaster and has a handy indentation which enables you to pull out the tray (when the toaster is turned off) and then you can empty the crumbs to keep the toaster in good working condition. I recently emptied the crumb tray in my Mum's toaster and was stunned that there was around five or six pieces of toast in crumbs and there was also a piece of glass in the bottom and it was just unbelievable that this toaster had still been going strong for goodness knows how long with a fairly large piece of glass stuck in it.

Defrost Function: This function is to defrost your bread before it then toasts it. This is quite useful for me to use as I often just buy reduced bread and then freeze it.

High Lift: This is where you can press the handle further up and then the bread comes higher out of the slot to enable you to pick it up easier.

There are two slots which are fairly wide and I'm usually surprised by how thick I can slice the bread to put in. I only find one or two shop brought loafs to be a tiny bit big for this toaster.

This toaster gives me nice even toast and I have no niggles with it at all. The price is reasonable for such a stylish toaster and I believe this is actually around 2-3 years old now and there haven't been any problems with it.

This toaster is not noisy and the toast simply pops up when finished. There is an easy dial to adjust to decide how dark you want your toast and the handle is stylish. Overall I think that the whole thing looks very good.

I would rate this toaster 5/5 as I think the quality is fantastic and there really isn't nothing missing from it or anything that I would want to change or improve.

Summary: A Fantastic Toaster.

Great review. What a handy toaster that sounds like it is well designed too. Why can't all brands do this?

I'm on the lookout for a new toaster. This one ticks all the right boxes except the price. But then they say you only get what you pay for, so perhaps I should tick the last box too!:-)
