A good toaster for a reasonable pricee - recommended!

We bought this toaster after the old one stopped working as well; it was around £30. I prefer the brushed-metal appearance to a plastic case, as it looks much cleaner and smarter. Although there is only one space to put the toast, there is a 'lever' on the top of the toaster and you can change the width of the space, for thicker or more slices of toast!

You can change the timer and also the temperature (a choice of 3 buttons on the front of the toaster) so you don't have to keep an eye out for the toast getting burnt! Also, when the toaster has finished, it 'pings' quite loudly, so you can hear when it is ready!

The toast doesn't pop up - there is a knob on the side of the toaster that slides it up and down.

It does toast bread quite quickly compared to other toasters, so it is worth setting the timer for less time than normal when first using it!

I would recommend this toaster - its smooth, metal casing is easy to clean and looks attractive too, and after having it for around 9 months we have had no problems so far!
