I've had this toaster for a little while,after my previous toaster blew up (well it was second hand!). I like machinery to be simple and don;t need lots of whizzy dials and buttons for making all sorts of stuff that can be done just as easily in a grill...... so the Kenwood toaster was just what I was looking for. I also refuse to pay over the odds for something and believe me toaster prices can reach the £000's!!!. Anyhow this one cost me about £20 in the local Coop Home store so not only did I get my dividend on it, I got a good basic model for very reasonable price. Last week I decided that I fancied beans on toast for lunch. I put the bread in the toaster and got the beans out ready. The next thing I knew was that there was a bang, a flash and a smell of burning and my toaster was dead! So it came to pass that we were looking for a new toaster.
