Does the job of a toaster well (Morphy Richards 44009)

Advantages: easy to use, modern design

Disadvantages: doesn't do one piece of bread or warming rack well

This is a very stylish toaster that will look modern in any kitchen. As the toasting time counts down a column of red light on the side of the toaster counts down in blocks, making it easy for you to see how much longer the toast will take. The crumb tray is extremely easy to remove and empty and it is simple to adjust the time on the toaster by using the small wheel on the side. However, the heating rack does not work particularly well, I tried to heat pancakes on the rack above the toasting slots but after 5 minutes they were still only vaguely hot on one side, I found it easier to toast them as I would with bread but for a shorter amount of time. Also, this toaster does not work very well with only one piece of bread, it burns one side easily while the other is barely brown! This does work very well at the simple job of toasting two pieces of bread at the same time but nothing more advanced than that.

Summary: good if you simply want a nice toaster
