Advantages: Neat toaster
Disadvantages: None
Anyone for toast? 1 slice or two? The toaster I am reviewing today will do 2 slices at the same time. This toaster is one I used when visiting friends, this toaster being only 2 slots is a bit of a nuisance when there is more than one or two people's bread to toast.
This Murphy Richards Accents 2 Slice Toaster 44063 Jet Black machine looks quite classy. The stainless steel sides are curved at the top, and the ends and the base are a jet black plastic, very sophisticated. This model also available in Burgandy too.
There is a crumb tray that slides out at the bottom of the toaster, just remember to empty it.
Now stop ogling this toaster and make it work. Let's get this toaster set up.
There are some dials ion the side of the toaster. Here there is a dial with numbers on you can turn to get the correct browning for your liking. No heat sensors to stop your toast burning, also no safety automatic stop either.
You can set this machine to defrost so it's perfect if you want to get extra bread from the freezer to toast.
Uhh arrr can you smell burning toast just as well there's a cancel immediate reject eject button isn't it.
I hate cold toast prefer mine hot so the butter melts into it. This machine has a reheat button so I can warm my chilled toast up again.
This toaster does not have a cool wall so it will be warm to the touch, it doesn't have a warning rack either so no croissants warmed for breakfast here
Right now lets post two slices of bread in the slots at the top of the machine (I always knew there was a reason to practice posting skills with that red postbox toy).
Put the bread in and depress the lever at the side to lower the bread slice into the machine.
The slots are a good length ideal for a slice of bread.
The depth of the slot is big it's good for those large slices of bread, or for nan breads. The width is variable so you can toast those doorsteps (thick bread)or a crumpet.
I was quite impressed with my friend's traditional Morphy Richards accents jet black toaster. I toasted our bread well. Theres nothing quite like a slice of toasted bread with butter
I looked on the internet to see how much it costs and on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000EGFTE 2/ciaouk-home-21/ref=nosim its £29.99p at tesco's http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-9699.aspx it only cost £19.97.
If you want a matching kitchen you can get a jug kettle or a traditional kettle to match. .
I thought this toaster quite good looked good too.
