good quality toast with extra features!

As a family of three we always look to try and have breakfast as a family in the mornings. I usually wake up get my daughter dresses whilst my partner is getting ready for work and i leave her to watch some morning TV while i make the breakfast. When we purchased this in 2009 we didn't want a 4 slice toaster as we just don't have the room on our kitchen counters for a large toaster.

This toaster is just a general 2 slice toaster. The timer dial on the side goes from 1 to 6. It also has a defrost setting which allows you to defrost frozen bread for either sandwiches or just to toast. I think everyone always assumes the dial on toasters are for the heat setting but most toasters it is for the time it is in the toaster. It also has a button to stop your toast from cooking (usually used if you smell it burning!).
The toaster is white with a stainless steel top. The toaster has some brilliant features to it which was the reason we bought it. On sight, it's just a normal everyday toaster, but it also came with a heating rack which sits on top to heat up your croissants and buns etc. We use this quite often to sit the other toast we have made before on while the next lot is cooking as we like to all eat together. The other feature is underneath is a tray which slides out so you can dispose of the crumbs easily! Much better for us to wipe round the surfaces every night without breakcrumbs falling all over the place when we lift the toaster up. If like our toaster you have it sitting right next to a plug, underneath the toaster are some little grip holders for you to clip your wire into place so it's not strewn all over the counter.

We paid around £14.99 for this toaster from Argos. We've had it for 2 years and it's still working very well. We use it everyday for our breakfast and sometimes even at lunchtime if me and my daughter fancy beans on toast. I have used a toaster bag in it too which worked really well! made a nice toasted cheese sandwich.

It is available on Amazon for around £16. Well worth the price!
