Slim, dark and sexy I found the toaster in my friends kitchen.
It was a Morphy Richards Latitude 2 slice toaster. I just had to lay my hands on it and inset two slices of bread into the single long stainless steel opening.
I thought the long single opening a canny idea. As well as needing to toast 2 standard sized slices of bread I frequently have large slices of bread which are too long for a standard sized slot. This long slot is great it is good for toasting Nan breads too.

The slimness of this toaster is also good as it will fit on a slender shelf where a more traditional side by side 2 slice toaster might not.

This toaster's dial is stainless steel centre front of the toaster and has 9 settings, so you can get the depth of tan you require on your toast. There is a pause and check button so if you are a bit nervous about the toast you can check to make sure it is the correct brown for you. You can cancel the toasting operation any time by pushing the cancel button.
There is a high lift function so you can get small toasted items out easily. There is a defrost setting and a reheat setting.
It is possible to warm your buns on this toaster too as there is an integral bun warming rack. There is a removable crumb tray at the base of the toaster.

The plug seems to have a reasonable length cord and neatly stores away if you wish it too . This toaster produced a pretty good slice of toast evenly browned.
Mt friend has not had this toaster long so no idea of its longlevity. It's a pretty expensive toaster though RRP £48.96 but it comes with free delivery from http://www.morphyrichards.co.uk . If you look around you will get it cheaper at http://www.additionsdirect.co.u and Marshal ward.

Yes this toaster looked good made good toast, I just hope it lasts my friend a long time.
