Advantages: Easy to use and well laid out features
Disadvantages: Colour transfered to tiles and can burn toast if used continously
We have had this toaster for just under 2 years. The toaster is part of a range of retro style kitchen appliances from Morphy Richards and in fact was cheaper to by as a package with the kettle than the toaster on it's own). This is a good looking toaster and well designed.
The toaster features 2 toasting slots, side by side and comes with a heat setting dial, frozen setting, reheat setting, early eject button, slice lower and raise feature and crumb tray. All of which are well laid out and easy to use.
When the toaster is first used it takes a little time to warm up but if it used straight after then it is already warm and tends to burn the toast if the dial isn't turned down to compensate. We have also found that the colour has transfered to the tiles behind the toaster, although it did wipe of easily without leaving any marks care is needed to make sure this doesn't happen. The lead is also a little on the short side.
Summary: A very good toaster.
