... better half s latest purchase and to be honest, not the best. Overpriced. Overstyled, Overrated. Don t get me wrong it is a sturdy piece of kit, being a Morphy this was never going to be in doubt and in the right surroundings I guess that it would fit in well. I just think that for the price you pay I want something, well, something else. It s a bit big due to its long design and takes up a little too much room... Morphy Richards 44038 ... have this toaster in black - it comes in a variety of colours including almond (pictured), red and black. I ve had this toaster for about a month now and no problems so far. Its really stylish, has wide slots for easy toasting of thick toast, bagels, crumpets, etc. Although it can do four slices at the same time, the two levers mean that if you only need two slices, you can just do two (saving electricity!). There is a crumb collecting tray, and it is really easy and quick to clean, just a quick brush over with the cloth does it. Thinking it was easy, we looked at a wide range of toasters, not realising that each brand has about a gazillion different types of toaster. Finally settling on one, we went through our wonderful, giving each other knowing looks that meant it wouldn t be long before we could use our brand new Morphy Richards 44724 model toaster.......as a married couple! For a start, it s really nice to have an aesthetically pleasing toaster. This one has a curved appearance, maknig it seem almost space-like when combined with its polished chrome appearance. Morphy Richards Accents Toaster ... toaster is the perfect womanly touch for a working kitchen!! The shade of pink used is subtle yet femanin, with the silver sides it still has a monly feel to it. Its light and fairly compact so it wont take up too much room on a worktop. The buttons are big enough to push easily and the know is large too(for changing heat) their are many different heat settings from 1-5 so it definatly has a shade of toast for you.The dials and buttons are clearly labled in silver. The crumb tray catched all the little crumbs that might have covered the work top. Now for some bad points (are their any??)
