Advantages: Cheap, sturdier than many budget toasters

Disadvantages: Looks aren't great, but for the price...

I'll be honest, i purchased this for cost rather than anything else. In comparison the the 'really cheap' toasters and other appliances it's actually pretty good, it's not totally flimsy and doesn't feel like it's about to break. The wider slots are great though, i was always fed up of squashing my hot cross buns into other toasters. Looks wise, it's ok, i keep it stashed away in a cupboard but if you're worried about things looking perfect it would be worth saving up a little more and getting something with a bit more style. It's a perfect toaster for someone on a budget - if you're a student, it's fantastic, i know we aren't the only household where the toaster is one of the most used appliances. Overall, it's cheap, does what it says on the tin and will hopefully keep on going a lot longer than the rubbish you buy in some of the budget supermarkets.

UPDATE - I missed a few points (thanks Nar2)

Does the body of the toaster remain cool in use?
Surprisingly, yes, having used a far more expensive toaster, which gets almost too hot to handle sometimes, i was really pleased. It's certainly no trouble to pick up and put back in my cupboard straight after use.

Is it easy to clean out?
No... however i am yet to find a toaster that doesn't enjoy throwing my crumbs all over the kitchen. Just be careful with it and it's ok, but the trays do have a tendancy to get stuck.

How much was it exactly?
As above i paid £14.67 online - if you have a store within easy reach it would be worth a look, but i had no complaints about the price, especially as i was in a bit of a hurry to get another toaster!

Since it can toast buns does this mean that it can accept both thick and thin slices?
We only buy medium sliced, but it manages buns fine as long as you slice them correctly, so i'm sure thick slices would be a breeze.

Summary: Good for someone on a budget probably not for anyone who wants a nice looking toaster on the worktop

Welcome to Dooyoo. A good start here and this is a great toaster generally - a bit more info here though would be good for future buyers such as:
