... toaster is absolutely brilliant, it performs very well and makes perfect toast. however you personally like it done. It looks really good, is easy to clean and the crumb tray is very easy to empty and clean. It doesn t get finger marks left on it either, which is a real bonus. Philips HD 2603 ... have had the Phillips HD2603 toaster for several years. It is a traditional type of toaster, stainless steel and cream slightly retro looking. It has a warming rack, two extra wide slots with variable slot width , defrost function , one side toasting and a cancel button. I have never used the warming rack, the extra wide slots and the one side toasting are useful if you like to toast teacakes etc. The defrost function is very useful if you have forgotten to take the bread out of the freezer. The dial on the front has seven settings for how well done you like your toast plus reheat, which is handy if someone interrupts you .Why does the phone always ring as you are maki... Philips HD2566/10 ... ll be honest, i purchased this for cost rather than anything else. In comparison the the really cheap toasters and other appliances it s actually pretty good, it s not totally flimsy and doesn t feel like it s about to break. The wider slots are great though, i was always fed up of squashing my hot cross buns into other toasters. Looks wise, it s ok, i keep it stashed away in a cupboard but if you re worried about things looking perfect it would be worth saving up a little more and getting something with a bit more style. Philips HD2566/10 ... toaster is a mid market toaster. Cheap and cheerful. Does what it says on the tin. The toaster has extra wide slots which are handy for toasting buns and bagels, so you dont burn your fingers grabbing the toasted items out! The design is simple, looks ok, but works and is perfectly functional. It comes with the usual cancel/ stop buttons and a little area to catch the crumb trays, which is good but its a bit hard to pull out and when you do the crumbs have a tendancy to go flying around the kitchen!!! Its a good toaster if your looking for one that does the job and isnt too pricey. Its mid quality and will look ok in your kitchen. Im happy for it to be on my side...
