Advantages: An economically priced toaster

Disadvantages: none

I recently requested a Tesco Direct catalogue and must tell you all that its got some great bargains to offer.
My Cookworks toaster has just browned its last slice,or rather hasn't browned its last slice ! so its been assigned to the bin..

I particularly wanted a four slice toaster, its much easier than hopping back and forth to the kitchen doing two slices at a time.
Ive recently had a smart new Stainless steel kettle,so I wanted the toaster to match.

If im buying electrical goods I like to think that im getting the best value that I can possibly get for my money.
Plus there are some functions that I would consider pretty essential on any toaster I was going to buy.

First of all I wanted a good brand..so Russell Hobbs fits the bill, then I wanted the four slots, which the 13767 model has.

Often I want to toast my bread from frozen,so that option is another must have..yes it does toast from frozen.

We like thick toast and toasted teacakes ..this model has variable width ,so can do both.

The lift high carriage lever makes the toaster much safer, you don't have to put your fingers too near the slot openings to pull the toast out.

The toaster has variable browning, sometimes this can be a stumbling block as some toasters don't have a lot of variation to their settings. But this Russell Hobbs model toasted to perfection, though it took a couple of attempts to get it spot on.

The crumb tray is easy to remove and clean and the toaster is well insulated giving it what they refer to as `coolwalls` ..in other words the exterior is always safe enough to touch without burning your hands.

It has a mid cycle cancel facility too,so no burnt teacakes !

I'm more than pleased with my new toaster, its easy to clean ,just wipe over with a damp cloth and then buff up.

Another good thing was because I bought it from Tesco Direct they delivered it for me.I was able to find a voucher code on the Internet for free delivery.
The toaster was really well priced at £24.97 and that automatically gave me 24 Tesco club card points.

So all in all one very satisfied customer !

Summary: A well priced four slot toaster
