It is not often that I get excited about a domestic appliance, but this little beauty makes me smile every morning. From it's classy shape and modern brushed stainless steel finish, to it's range of features this toaster oozes style and user friendliness. As a family man we previously owned a 2 slice toaster which was clearly inadequate in the mornings. The 14144 offers 4 slices as 2 independent pairs meaning that plenty of toast can be produced as and when you want it. There is a variable control for brownness which works well in ensuring you get the shade and consistency that you are after. All the expected features are there including reheat, frozen and a cancel button for when you are really late! What really impresses me with this toaster is the size of the slots themselves easily accomodating bread of awkward shape and size as well as crumpets or other wider items. Each pair of slots has a removable crumb tray which is convenient and helps to keep the area mess free. I marvel at how quick this toaster toasts and have been very impressed with the results so far.

I purchased this toaster for 37.99, it came with a plug attached, a brief instruction guide and a handy box which we have since used for kittens!
