... Russell Hobbs toaster has served me well for over 8 years. It s a 4 slice toaster that is large enough to take Warburton s slices, and the slots are wide enough to take thick crumpets and hot cross buns. I like the fact it has a special button to press if you re toasting anything frozen, so it toasts slower, allowing the bread/crumpets to defrost. Russell Hobbs 9272-10 ... is a fairly basic but reliable little toaster. It s very light and compact so doesn t take up much room. Being small, it can only toast 2 slices at a time so if you ve got a big family it probably wouldn t be that practical. It has temperature settings of 1 - 6 (the 2-3 setting is usually about right for normal bread) and also has a defrost button which is useful and a button to warm through toast you didn t eject straightaway. I ve always found it to make toast as I expected and the slots are also wide enough for crumpets and bagels although not as wide as some on the market. Russell Hobbs 14144 ... is not often that I get excited about a domestic appliance, but this little beauty makes me smile every morning. From it s classy shape and modern brushed stainless steel finish, to it s range of features this toaster oozes style and user friendliness. As a family man we previously owned a 2 slice toaster which was clearly inadequate in the mornings. The 14144 offers 4 slices as 2 independent pairs meaning that plenty of toast can be produced as and when you want it. There is a variable control for brownness which works well in ensuring you get the shade and consistency that you are after. Russell Hobbs 13790 ... slim toaster fits on the kitchen top easily. It has an easy dial to change the degree to which your toast is taosted. Strangely this goes so high it burns the toast so you have to spend some time finding the correct setting. I have written this down on a pad as it needs to be changed for items with fruit baked in them. The toaster accomadates bread, rolls and buns. however I like freshly baked bread and these slices were two tall for the toaster slot which needs to be a little deeper. It is easy to clean the toaster removing the crumb tray from the bottom. If this is not done regularly you will get a burning smell. the down side is that the stain less steel finis...
