Advantages: Wide slots and lift up slices
Disadvantages: Hasn't lasted all that long, doesn't toast evenly
I think this toaster is around the £40 mark, we received this as a present so I'm not exactly sure. I do though that it wasn't cheap. I don't particularly rate this toaster. It only seems to brown the middle of the bread, and not as evenly I would like. I don't put this down to my bad bread slicing either! The wide slots are useful and the fact that you can lift the bread up highly when it done to get the slices out.
I have only had ours four years though (which isn't that long) and we ccertainly don't use it every day, and already one of the timers has gone on one side so if you're not around, it doesn't automatically pop off, and has been know to catch fire!!
The crumb trays I found fiddly to remove and didn't really even catch all the crumbs. If you are to remove them all, you do have to hold it upside down and give a good shake.
One positve I suppose it that it looks stylish in the kitchen if not a little bulky, but then I imagine for a toaster that carries four slots it would need to take up some space.
Summary: I wouldn't recommend it
