My tefal toast n egg (Tefal Toast n Egg TT550015)
Member Name: lozthom
Advantages: no saucepans Disadvantages: too small for my loaf This was a MUST for my kitchen when I first came across it, but, I have to admit, I havent used it for some weeks now. It does great poached eggs although I had to experiment with the timing of it for some while, and the same went for boiled. Its good though, in that I dont have to bother with saucepans in the mornings now. On a downside. I noticed that it just doesnt totally toast my preferred slice of bread. I have to toast it, then turn the bread upside down to get the top bit done. Obviously, depends on the size of the loaf you're using, its wide enough for extra thick crumpets, barmcakes etc, etc which many of my other toasters have let me down on in the past. Its easy to clean, good looking and Im hoping will last me a few years. In all, I would definitely recommend this product, you also get a nifty little recipe booklet with it. Their after service is commendable too. I had problems with my "poacher" tray sticking, they replaced this for a new one within 2 days. Summary: Still a good buy
