Me and my husband purchased this toaster as we have a love of gadgets and thought it would be a great one to try out. It looks great in the kitchen and people are always impressed when they look at it, so that is a good point but the bad points far outweigh that I'm afraid. It only makes one egg, and you have to have it well done (so no runny yolks) to make sure the white is cooked. I think for a single person this is a brilliant product, and if they made one double the size it would be ok for a couple, but the egg does turn out rather rubbery.
After having used it a few times, I would say, great to have on display and impress people but in practice, not so great. Especially for couples who want to eat together. I have purchased other poachers and they work far better.
The toaster part of this product is fine though.
